The school will hold its annual PAC Title 1 parents meeting. This is intended to explain what Title 1 means and how it impacts you. At the PTA meeting following, you will have the opportunity to select the new Parent Advisory Committee Chair. The PAC chair is responsible for overseeing the allocation of Title 1 funds. He or she will recruit volunteers to sit on the committee, survey parents about their wants and needs, hold votes during general membership meetings, and oversee any events or purchasing of materials. The PAC chair time commitment is roughly 1-3 hours a month.
